The Pack will have it's annual family campout on Sat-Sun, March 9-10 at Magnolia Springs State Park near Millen, GA. Families of registered scouts are invited to attend. We want everyone to try and go on this campout and make it a major event in the Pack's annual calendar. Magnolia Springs is a beautiful park, and there's plenty to do.
We've reserved the pioneer campground so there's plenty of room for everybody. The pioneer campground is technically "primitive" camping, but there's covered shelters, fire rings, running water, latrines, and even showers (sorry, no hot running water - that's the primitive part!). Plan on sleeping in your tent, the pack will do the cooking, but bring your own snacks. Remember, every scout must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Official check-in time is at 1:00 PM Saturday afternoon - plan on having eaten lunch before you arrive. There will be a group leaving from the church about {TBA}, or you can drive up on your own. We will leave the campground Sunday about noon (but we won't keep you there if you want to leave earlier)
